Stannol acquires 25 percent of the shares in recycler demotronic

News

Stannol has acquired 25 percent of the shares in demotronic GmbH in Espelkamp, North Rhine-Westphalia, with retroactive effect from 1 January. The remaining 75 percent will be acquired when the current Managing Director Achim Wenzel retires on 31 December 2026.

"We have been supplying the electronics industry with high-quality soldering materials for many years. We were impressed by demotronic's concept of collecting waste electronic equipment directly from customers, mostly free of charge. With this solution, we close the loop from production to the return of valuable raw materials - and thus create sustainability in practice with real added value for our customers," explains Marco Dörr, Managing Director of Stannol.

Specialised recycler in NRW for almost 30 years

demotronic, based in Espelkamp near Osnabrück, was founded in 1997 and has established itself in the field of electrical and electronic recycling. "What sets the company apart is not only the technology it uses, but above all a team of around 25 employees who work with commitment, a wealth of ideas and a clear focus on conserving recyclable materials to preserve raw materials and return them to the cycle," emphasises Dörr.

demotronic fulfils the requirements of the German Recycling Management Act and is not only certified as a data destruction company, but also as a primary treatment facility and specialist waste management company. The focus is always on resource conservation and sustainable management.
