Alloy Composition

The solders are characterised by different metal compositions. The alloy composition describes the proportions in which the metals are present in the alloy. As a result, physical basic data of the alloy such as strength, melting point and similar are defined.

Product Characteristics

Solder Wire HF32-SMD

Description

The soldering wire HF32-SMD has been specially developed for use in SMD technology. The low flux content results in almost residue-free soldering. The visual image of the PCB is also not disrupted by subsequent insertion of components or by resoldering work. As it is a "No-Clean" product, the residues can remain on the circuit board without adversely affecting the electrical safety.

Product Advantages

  • Halogen-free activation
  • Flux content of only 1.0%
  • Good flow characteristics
  • Almost residue-free
  • No-Clean

Availability

HF32-SMD wires are available in the leaded alloys Sn60Pb40 and Sn62Pb36Ag2 and diameters from 0.23 to 1.0 mm.
